A Storm is coming - Your web server is being upgraded!

In past months, you may have encountered hiccups with your website hosting. Recognizing that these issues have been due to an increased load on the server, we are taking the necessary steps to improve available resources and eliminate downtime.

Nicholas Creative, in partnership with LiquidWeb Inc., is excited to announce that your website will soon be hosted on an all-new and more powerful server platform called Storm On Demand.

What is Storm On Demand?

The Storm On Demand platform is a proprietary cloud computing and server hosting infrastructure developed by the engineers at Liquid Web Inc. Storm servers are deployed within Liquid Web's 90,000 square foot state-of-the-art Cloud Data Center in Lansing, Michigan. Storm servers are backed by on site engineering and support services available 24x7x365.

What does this mean for me?

Traditional web hosting involves an environment where resources, such as RAM, Disk Space and Bandwidth are fixed and absolute. If the popularity of your website sharply or suddenly increases, data center staff must physically upgrade your server. Storm Servers are different because resources can be upgraded and downgraded on the fly. This means the server will always be able to accomodate the bandwidth and CPU demands required to keep your web presence online at all times!

What are the next steps?

No action is required on your part. The migration process will be seamless and take place during late night/ early morning hours. Your website and email will not experience any downtime. In coming days you will receive instructions on resetting your control panel and FTP password.
